Spindle Wood Farm is an agroecological farm dedicated to sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices. We are first generation farmers using regenerative methods to raise our livestock, which not only benefits our animals but the soils and pastures they live on, free from harmful chemicals.
What sets us apart is our commitment to regenerating the land and promoting biodiversity, while providing our customers with fresh, high quality, nutritious food.
Who we are
We produce chemical free pasture raised chicken and grass fed goat meat on our agroecological farm in the depths of South Devon. We make BBQ charcoal from our woods and the farm is home to our working horses aka Dartmoor Horse Loggers.
Our overriding aim is to farm regeneratively, to regenerate the soil and grassland, to regenerate the woodland and support the wildlife that lives here while providing ourselves and others with nutritious, high welfare food and produce that is grown or made in a sustainable manner, the management benefits the livestock and the land, as well as us.
We are non-certified organic. Our livestock are fed organic feed and we don't use any chemicals or unnatural fertilisers on the land and our livestock and wildlife are both thriving!
We deliver locally ourselves and offer nationwide delivery via overnight courier for our meat products.
